About GP
Dear Host Family, I am a Registered Nurse from the Philippines, and I am writing to express my heartfelt interest in joining your family as an Au Pair. My name is GP, I am 23 years old, and my life has been defined by a deep commitment to caring for others. My journey as a caregiver started long before I earned my nursing degree. Since I was in the 6th grade, I have been a devoted companion and caregiver to my grandmother. This decade-long experience taught me the true meaning of patience, emotional support, and the warmth needed to look after a loved one. Professionally, my nursing background has given me extensive experience with babies and toddlers. I am very comfortable and patient with the "baby stage," but I also deeply enjoy the energy and curiosity of older children. Whether your child is an infant needing specialized attention or a school-aged child ready for adventure, I bring a balance of professional safety and a nurturing, "big sister" presence. What I Bring to Your Home Safety & Peace of Mind: As a Registered Nurse, I am fully trained in First Aid and CPR. You can rest easy knowing your child is in very safe, professional hands. Proactive Help: I take the initiative in the household—whether it is preparing healthy meals, keeping the house organized, or ensuring daily routines are both smooth and fun. Active & Creative: I love the outdoors, music, and finding new ways to play and learn together. I am an active person who enjoys being a creative companion for children. Reliability & Commitment I am a non-smoker, a hard worker, and I maintain a high level of professional responsibility. I am looking for a family where I can build a bond of trust and become a truly helpful part of your daily life. I would be honored to discuss how my experience and my "medical heart" can benefit your household. Warmly, GP Contact Details: Viber: +63 931 840 9827
Why I want to be an au pair
The decision to pursue this role internationally is driven by a desire for both professional growth and cultural exchange. 1. Cultural Immersion & Perspective I believe that the best way to grow as a person and a professional is to step outside of my comfort zone. Working abroad allows me to immerse myself in a new culture, learn different approaches to elderly care, and broaden my global perspective. 2. Bridging Healthcare and Home Life I want to transition my skills from a fast-paced hospital environment to a more personal, one-on-one setting. Being an Au Pair allows for a deeper connection with the person I am caring for, which is often difficult to achieve in a clinical ward. 3. Professional Development Adapting to a foreign healthcare system and different household standards will sharpen my adaptability and communication skills. I am eager to learn how different societies value and care for their elderly, bringing my Filipino heritage of deep respect for elders ("Pagmamano" and family-centric care) to a new home.
