About Khate

My name is Khate C. Clemente. I am 24 years old and I from the Philippines. I am a cheerful, non smoker and non drinker, know how to ride bike, love to cook, responsible, and caring person who enjoys spending time with children and learning about different cultures. In my free time, I love listening to music, singing, reading books, taking photos, and traveling. These interests have inspired me to become an Au Pair because I would love to experience a new culture while becoming part of a loving host family. I am a graduate of Bachelor of Science in Management Accounting. My education has helped me develop responsibility, organization, time management, and problem-solving skills, which I believe are valuable qualities when caring for children and supporting a host family. I am the oldest child, and I have one younger brother and one younger sister. We are a close-knit, loving, and God-centered family. I also volunteered in outreach programs where we visit different places to share God's love and spend time with children. Being the eldest child, my parents taught me how to be responsible from a young age. I learned how to do household chores and help take care of my younger siblings. These experiences helped me become independent, patient, and dependable. When it comes to childcare, I have experience taking care of my younger cousins, ranging from infants to children over six years old. Sometimes, when their parents are at work, I look after them by preparing meals, playing with them, helping them with their homework, and ensuring their safety and well-being. I truly enjoy spending time with children, creating fun activities, and building meaningful connections with them. I believe that being an Au Pair is more than just helping with childcare. Why I want to be an au pair

I am drawn to au pair work because it combines my genuine love for children with the opportunity for deep cultural immersion. It allows me to step outside my comfort zone, become a positive role model, and build lasting, meaningful relationships with a family abroad. I am looking for a family that values clear, honest communication and treats me like a true member of the household, not just an employee. An ideal family for me is one that is excited to learn about my Filipino background while sharing their own local customs and traditions. I thrive in environments built on mutual respect, where we can establish clear schedules, household expectations, and boundaries together. I want to become more independent, adaptable, and confident by learning how to navigate life in a completely new environment. I hope to significantly improve my language skills and acquire new life skills. And my goal is to gain a "second family" abroad and create unforgettable memories together.
