About Khenjie

I’m Khenjie, a 21-year-old from the Philippines and a Senior High School graduate with a background in Humanities and Social Sciences. I have one year of experience caring for two children from another family, which taught me to be patient, responsible, attentive, and understanding of children's individual needs. I enjoy spending time with children, helping them learn and explore, and creating a safe and positive environment for them. I’m excited to bring my childcare experience to a host family while sharing my Filipino culture and learning from American family life.

Why I want to be an au pair

I want to become an au pair because I genuinely enjoy caring for children and would like to build on the one year of experience I have caring for two children from another family. I want to experience American culture and daily family life while sharing my own Filipino culture, traditions, and experiences with my host family. I also hope to improve my communication skills, become more independent, and learn how to adapt to a new environment. Most importantly, I want to become a trusted and supportive person for the children while creating a meaningful relationship with my host family.
